R005 Sicher
Please review the following description carefully before use.
This application serves as a comprehensive music player for both entire folders and individual tracks, compatible with all music formats supported by Android. Additionally, it can control third-party players and display sound levels in real-time. The interface is designed to resemble classic tape reel decks, evoking a sense of nostalgia. Please note that the name is fictitious; removing the "A" from the name will lead you to an ad-free version of the app.
Key Features:
- Authentic visual design reminiscent of legendary tape reel decks.
- Create playlists from entire folders and/or individual tracks; multiple subfolders can be included, all music will be played seamlessly.
- Playback controls include play, pause, next/previous track, and stop functions.
- Adjust global sound volume using a visual volume knob.
- Monitor music levels using both arrow and linear VU-meters.
- Toggle between microphone input and global output for VU-meters.
- View details such as song title, album name, and artist in a scrolling display.
- Observe rotating cassette drivers and speakers responding to music during playback.
- Utilize a timer that tracks playback duration.
- Buttons and switches provide realistic sound feedback when interacted with.
- Zoom in or out of the interface with a pinch gesture; navigate through zoomed views by holding and dragging.
- Adjust the view to fit the screen size with a long tap; revert to the original view with a double tap.
- Exit the application using the power button on your device.
User Instructions:
As a Music Player:
- Double tap anywhere on the player or activate internal mode to access the playlist editor, which will locate folders named "Music" on your device.
- Navigate to your desired music folder using scrollbars to explore subfolders, if necessary.
- Drag and drop entire folders or individual tracks into the right panel for your playlist creation.
- Rearrange items in your playlist through drag-and-drop functionality.
- If you wish to remove an item from your playlist, drag it back to the left panel.
- Adjust panel sizes by dragging the vertical divider left or right for better visibility.
- Double tap anywhere in the playlist or folder area to start playback.
If no "Music" folder appears in the editor:
- Install a third-party application that enables symbolic link creation within the Android file system.
- Create a symlink named "Music" that points to your actual music folder inside either "sdcard," "ext_sdcard," or "legacy," depending on what is available on your device.
- Restart this application to refresh its directory access.
As a Front Panel for Other Players:
- Variation 1:
Launch this program and switch to "EXTernal" player mode. Then open your preferred music player and select your intended track. Pause playback in that player, switch back to this program, and tap play to control via this interface. - Variation 2:
Open your favorite player, select a track, and initiate playback. Launch this application—once opened, it will automatically pause continuing playback. Then switch to EXT player mode, tap play, and control your experience through this app's interface.
The EQ/RND switch facilitates playback in either sequential or randomized order (within folders as well). Options like ONCE will end playback after completing the playlist while LOOP will continually repeat it.
The microphone input option enables VU-meters to listen and respond to ambient sounds. When playing music through external hardware, enabling this function allows VU-meters to reflect external audio levels. Conversely, selecting output links VU-meters to internal sound output only. Users should be aware that functionality may vary based on hardware capabilities and specific third-party players, particularly on some Snapdragon processors. The author holds no responsibility if VU-meters function incorrectly regarding audio levels on output but perform adequately on microphone input.
This application does not contain any malicious code—there's no data collection, trading, or external communications involved. Its sole purpose is to act as a front panel for music playback with advertisements included.
Please note that this program operates exclusively in landscape mode. It prevents automatic screen blackening yet allows screen power-off using the device's power button.
